Pros

The company does a lot to drive employee engagement and camaraderie such as office celebrations. The flatter management structure means little overhead, which lowers cost of product. The Transportation CEO does a great job of communicating our progress toward financial goals. Overall, a great first 90 days. Benefits are also pretty great.

Cons

It is a relatively small company which means processes and procedures are not well defined. This can be both an asset as well as a challenge. You are able to make decisions without a lot of "red tape."

Pros

The people here are great! I get along with all of my co-workers and managers. Everyone has been very helpful as I have transitioned into the job. The benefits and pay are above average. The bonus and ESOP are just icing on the cake. The company offers additional bonuses for passing certification courses as well as tuition reimbursement. One voluntary day off per year in addition to generous PTO allowance. Culture is laid back and focus is on profitability, not growth.

Cons

Difficult to find any. This might be nit-picking, but with the conservative underwriting philosophy, sometimes management is less inclined to aggressively pursue good accounts. This can be a little frustrating, but it's worth it when bonus time comes around.
