Pros

It is a product that a person can absolutely stand behind and feel proud about selling to customers. There is a very diverse and cultured group of employees. There will most definitely be new experiences because the environment is ever changing and adapting. Roxul overall, believes in a "team" mentality and strongly encourages working together whenever the opportunity presents itself, which is a strong positive for an employee working remotely. The future of the company is exciting because it is still growing, plenty of untapped potential and ROXUL is always open for new ideas. The company vehicle is an added bonus! Plenty of freedom in working your own plan and scheduling.

Cons

There are a lot of inconsistencies in bonus structure/pay out as well as positions/organization, due to the fact that the company is still growing rapidly and trying to figure out which way works the best for the company. Sometimes things happen that just don't make sense.

Pros

- Strong corporate leadership within parent company. - Incredible product that makes it easy to represent passionately - Tools and resources provided abundantly for the most part. - Freedom and empowerment on schedule making and how to reach goals. Ideal for a disciplined person who requires little instruction.

Cons

- Senior Management reluctant to embrace an idea if it wasn't thought of by them. Very slow to react will cause frustration with those ready to make an impact. - Lots of middle managers in positions based on time at company rather than the ability to lead and develop people and think strategically. Creates frustration and gives senior management team blind spots. - A bonus structure that's been revamped many times and still isn't right. If you're comfortable hitting a budget and beating last year by significant margins but still receiving less than 10% bonus, then this is for you.

Great Company

Pros

I have been with Roxul now for years now and it has been a very rewarding experience. The Roxul team is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate of what we do. It is not just another insulation company, it is "The Better Insulation". There are plenty of future growth opportunities and the benefits, health, company vehicle, etc are great! The company is built on the Trust and Empowerment mentality and you really do get trusted and empowered to think on your own but you have a strong support team if you need assistance. All in all, A+ company to work for.

Cons

Positions get opened up and then get shut down or filled unexpectedly.
