Pros

They pay relatively good salary and they have a good package for pension and paid time off.

Cons

CEO and the management team he built, are very distant to the operating companies. They have no idea about the challenges and opportunities on the ground. Our competition has outgrown us in the market, and we have grown on market rate due to lack of vision, lack of courage and investment that can benefit the company. There is a lack of competent operational leadership, and taking the engineers out of the factories to create a HQ team in Denmark already started showing it's ugly side. Innovation and engineering in the factories are slowing down, challenges become too big to solve and HQ engineers are too inexperienced in factory operations to solve these challenges. Their marketing department in the HQ have no expertise in product management, nor pricing. The only thing they have done in the past 6 years is brand campaigns and sponsorships, which noone in the company understands why we sponsored SailGP or ocean projects... It is believed that the CEO likes sailing that's why SailGP is sponsored without a clear benefit to the operating companies. Everything else from the marketing department has been a failure - the new website they launched has been a failure, ecommerce is stopped, PIM implementation has been going on for 5 years with failure over failure on adoption, CRM is a failure in adoption, etc. etc. Millions of euros are spent and they show everything "green" in the internal reports while all sales, customer service and marketing are frustrated across the markets. Sustainability has been another area that did not deliver as the management treats it as a PR tactic rather than really tackling the real issues in the company such as the incredibly high amount of energy usage to produce the products. As part of Systems Division I was in a small OPCO in the netherlands. We were always pushed because we weren't bold enough, but when we were bold we were told we can't invest to grow because we are too small. The company lacks clear leadership, lacks strong management that really understands the business, and more importantly it lacks a unified vision that can rally all operating companies together.
