Overall a Good Place to Work

Pros

Interesting projects are prevalent and managers seem to want to see you succeed. Overall decent benefits and somewhat flexible work hours. The work environment is positive and encouraging. Company culture on the whole is good and coworkers tend to be great to work with.

Cons

The benefits I believe are a bit below industry standard. I know former classmates who are working for a similar sized company in a similar position that receive more compensation and accrue vacation at a faster rate. 5 years to get 3 weeks of vacation seems to be a bit behind the times.

Just okay, not a great company

Pros

Pay is decent. People are nice. Flexible working, with hybrid and remote options, is the best perk.

Cons

Be aware that turnover is high because they’re not truly valuing associates, and there is limited upward mobility. Among other things, the company needs to do much better with their benefits package, as it is below industry standard. There are several medical plan options and they push employees toward the plans which put more costs on employees, and the other plan is outlandishly expensive. The vision and dental are also subpar, as is their vacation and holiday schedules (you only get a measly 8 days for holidays). There is also no annual bonus which most other companies have.

Pros

- Flexible schedule. - Good place to build your resume. - Down to earth, friendly co-workers. - Lots of team players. - Decent benefits, including tuition reimbursement. - Good variety of projects.

Cons

- Little promotion from within. - Several managers are allowed to treat people poorly. - No reward or bonus systems for those considered support groups. - Not much diversity. - Little accountability. - Too many people who do not actually work and slip through the system, requiring others to pick up the slack. - Lots of odd politics. - Small raises for most, large raises for some. - Senior management is out of touch.
