The work is extremely diversified and challenging, The senior staff often serve as mentors which is great for future career advancement. The staff that you work with on projects are very bright and a number are truly experts in their field
Cons
Sometimes there is very little that can be done regarding what often are unrealistic deadlines. In some key program areas external political pressures occur (which is to be expected) but sometimes this shows in internal politics which should be kept to a minimum.
