Pros

With a focus on evidence-based solutions, RTI addresses complex issues across diverse fields like health, education, environmental science, and policy. Its multidisciplinary approach, emphasis on innovation, and collaborations with government agencies, private industry, and foundations enable it to tackle global challenges effectively. However, as with many large research organizations, the pace of bureaucracy and project funding constraints can sometimes impact project agility. Overall, RTI is valued for its scientific rigor, real-world impact, and dedication to societal betterment.

Cons

The compensation leaves something to be desired.

Pros

Great paid training, management is effective, professional, and kind. Generally really liked the company and the way they handled things. Commuting time is paid and mileage is reimbursed. Independent and semi-flexible hours if that's what you need.

Cons

Onboarding/training was at times a bit confusing. This job is not for the faint of heart. You are going door to door and people can be unpleasant. They can also be pleasant but it's a lot of rejection. You need to be resilient and good with people. Somewhat physically demanding as you are walking/driving from door to door with quite a bit of equipment and hot/cold weather depending on the time of year. It's part-time technically but pretty much feels full time.
