Lots of smart people who are passionate about what they do, laid back culture, just about everyone has their own office, great work/life balance

Cons

Lack of career growth for non-technical staff, recently acquired by Raytheon = more red tape and more uncertainty surrounding the future.

Pros

BBN hires smart people and expects you to use your intelligence to solve difficult problems. Everyone at BBN is committed to doing the best job possible. At BBN you get to work on cutting edge technologies and invent future technologies (email and the ARPAnet were invented at BBN).

Cons

At BBN it can be hard to take a great idea and turn it into a product. BBN is quite good at prototypes and proofs of concepts.
