      Pros

      I really enjoyed working here. Particularly in my department - DSL or IKT. I did a lot of interesting work. The benefits and flexibility to work part time and at times from home made for an excellent work/life balance for someone with many family commitments. The PMs were great they new their stuff and were generous.

      Cons

      Some of the higher management were prima-donnas. Not all departments had the same level of good management or work/life flexibility as mine.

      Pros

      Takes good care of employees. For example, company does not let go people right away if they are out of contract. I've seen other company fire right away when their contract expires and not billiable. Nice benefits package, out of pocket cost depends on your salary. Less salary you make, your benefit cost is less, where higher salary will pay more for benefit cost. Fair system. Incentive bonus and profit sharing. Good 401k match (Match upto 6%, contribute 6%, company will match 5%). Loyal employees, many people staying with the company for more than 10 to 20 years.

      Cons

      Independent layout, less interaction between people. Mostly government contracting, this means the contract has to renew every year. This applies to all government contracting companies. Base salary is low but compensated by incentive bonuses.

      Pros

      The people: Innovative, creative, vibrant. Lots of ways to connect with fellow employees both formally and informally. Easy place to create a network and see where it may lead.

      Cons

      Stagnant approach to business. Management is stuck in the rut of what worked 20 years ago must work now. On the employee side, too many are happy with what they used to do. Add to that the fact that 'Cambridge is the Center of the Universe' to those who work at the Center of the Universe.
