Working environment is greatly impacted by the principle investigators here, some are good, some are toxic. Make sure you have talked to different people about the group you would be joining, especially about their ethics level and working style. Don't assume the smartest and in power people have the average ethics level. Don't assume everyone here is respectful towards minority and junior employees.
