The work culture at Raytheon is team oriented and employees know that the key to their individual success is dependent on the success of the team and the company. This attitude fosters people helping others to succeed and the professional growth of all is enhanced.
Cons
Within the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) portion of the company, decision making power resides in Woburn, MA. Moving some of this management to Huntsville, AL and closer to the MDA customer would be a big benefit to both the company and the customer. Because of this reluctance opportunities in Huntsville for career growth are limited.
