Pros

Great Company with Good Salary and Lots of Challenging Assignments. Plenty of opportunities to support and work on various programs involved in latest technology.

Cons

Lots of politics and back biting. The Technical Service Company is a logistics, maintenance, and Training group which is separate from the other businesses.

Pros

Some interesting projects to work on. Generally friendly work force.

Cons

Your hard work translates directly to a bonus for your boss not compensation for you. Expected to work at least 50 to 60 hours a week without adequate compensation. Expected to conduct "mandatory" company training on your own time when not encouraged to bill your customer for it. Communication is terrible. Job security depends on your boss liking you.

Pros

Part of the defense/aerospace industry, helping to protect our nation. Lots of great technology to work on, lots of great people to work with. Uses mature & well-defined processes & procedures. Has numerous nationwide / worldwide locations, and there are opportunities to relocate / move around the country and/or world.

Cons

Outdated management practices (think northeast corporate culture from the '60s / '70s). The company uses an employee performance review system similar to Microsoft's "stacking" review system. Recent significant reorganizations, loss of local leadership (without being replaced), and layoffs have been causing chaos and degraded morale among the employees.
