Pros

Like any large company, your experience here will depend on what team you are on. In general IIS has better benefits than other business units. Lots of highly talented engineers and the work is interesting. Pay is on par with market rate and other benefits are good.

Cons

It can be difficult to get recognition / promoted which led to a decent amount of attrition among more senior engineers. Parental leave is lacking (6 weeks paid and most in the industry give 12).

Pros

Consistent workday, good job stability, above average benefits, reasonable work-life balance, decent time-off.

Cons

Lower pay ceilings, Slower work-paces, limited exposure to newer skills/learning, multiple levels of approvals for everything, less flexibility to work from home if you work with sensitive projects or need to work from secured environment.

Pros

Benefits are decent, flexibility is also good depending who you work for and where you work. Pay used to be good, has fallen behind industry.

Cons

Each year the benefits, bonuses, and perks are being cut back step by step. Cite a lack of hiring for mandatory increased working hours, but do not pay employees for the extra hours
