No work advancement, management doesn't care about your career ,instead they rather you be a miserable code monkey in a server room. Worked with the most toxic engineers I've ever met. Raytheon hires everyone especially the people who couldn't get a job anywhere else because of their attitudes. I also didn't realize how under payed I was as an engineer 2 aka $83,000 per year

Raytheon is a very profit-driven company and does not care about its employees. Every echelon of my management save for my direct supervisor has shown no regard or interest in my welfare in or outside of the company. They will compensate you initially for extra hours worked and then find some technicality to take it away so your time is unpaid. Management is never on the same page and issues contradicting information. Management is also very out of touch with the actual services we provide to the customer, resulting in contradicting direction from Raytheon and customer management.
