An OK place to work

Pros

Raytheon runs a very tight ship. This leads to a profitable company and offers a stable place to work. Pay is competitive.

Cons

Running a very tight ship also means little investment in employee moral and enjoyment. This costs money. If this is unimportant to you, then this may not be something to consider.

Pros

Pay and Benefits are good at all locations. However, the work conditions are very dependent upon location and project. One location/project may be excellent in all respects while another can be an oppressive, dreadful situation. Of course, there are business units that operate somewhere between the extremes.

Cons

Overall, suboptimal leadership. Some of the leadership is top notch while areas are amateurish. It averages out to slightly below average for the industry. Executive leadership is slow to react to changing business environment but probably not significantly worse than their traditional competitors.
