Pros

- You get every other Friday off, unless you get handed something at the last minute - You get every federal holiday off - Most people in the company will try to help or educate you

Cons

- Accusatory and defaming language and bullying by supervisors - Lack of updated training materials or central company knowledge repository for new hires. COVID caught this company by surprise and exposed several deficient areas of their business continuity - Archaic and outdated IT systems and data repositories - Expected to perform almost all work in Excel, but given sub-standard laptops that frequently crash when you have 3+ Excel files open - Expectation to account for every 7 minute increment of your time on timecard - - this can and will be used by your supervisor as a means to micromanage and brow-beat for not meeting their expectations - Outside hires shouldn't take a position here if you're filling a role that a junior (but more experienced) team member wanted but didn't get promoted to. You're gonna have a bad time. - HR is very hands-off in most matters. There was no interaction with HR until I left the company and they wanted an exit interview. If they announced their presence to new hires during the first weeks aboard, they might have intervened when troubles first arise - Expect to work many more hours that what you will be allowed to put on your timecard. Expect to work unpaid weekends also. - Work/Life balance is not protected or enforced. You'll have to learn to stick up for yourself and not be walked all over - The last straw for me was when my boss criticized me for sending out emails at 4:00am instead of saving them for when everyone logged on in the morning. Zero concern was shown about how this was the third all-nighter I pulled that week to try and manage my workload. (these all-nighters definitely weren't allowed to show up on my timecard, the boss just wouldn't approve the timecard)

Pros

Every other Friday off (as long as you aren't given too much work). The only good thing was not having to be there an extra day every other week.

Cons

Toxic culture in Andover site where everyone thinks everyone else is useless. Blaming others rather than failing as a team and learning is quite common. It was also perfectly normal for people to scream in meetings, bang tables, and make disrespectful insults. Changes are nearly impossible to make since the groups from different organizations hardly ever can work together.
