As a result product cycles are impacted, innovation is stifled, and middle management keeps head down for fear of being cut like previous good managers and directors. Replacement managers are chosen to prop up HR metrics but are not knowledgeable, innovative, or effective. These actions will result in the same situation Boeing finds itself.
