Chet Burchett wouldnt even acknowledge my email about it which shows how much they care despite proclaiming to have procedures in place to stamp it out. Open plan office essentially is a panopticon like environment where nobody can really interact.

The lack of structure and due processes means that management gets to say and do whatever they want, you could meet all your KPIs and still have your performance reviewed as poor because you skipped a non mandatory team dinner. They will listen to a few people's opinions and make judgements based on those, ignoring the rest's. Managers will tell you "oh you can always come to me if you have any problem" and you would take that as a kind offer but they will give you hell when you choose not to share problems you face with them because you are "not communicative". Biased views and favouritism also means that it is so hard to progress unless you are doing some brown nosing.
