Pros

Great exposure to many different industries within the trade show business. A lot of great people. At times there was a very social atmosphere. Great place to meet people and make friends. Good benefits package A fair amount of travel

Cons

Commission percentages and the whole compensation structure needs to be reviewed. No sales leader. Company is run by finance department. Some people on Director-VP level are clearly over their heads so they naturally resort to micro-management making it a miserable place to work. V.P. of Sales has created a management v.s employee atmosphere that is hurting the business. Atmosphere is so political that there is no real assessment of talent. This stagnates any opportunities for mobility or increasing compensation for anyone who performs well.

DO. NOT. WORK HERE.

Pros

The hybrid work model, I guess?

Cons

Do yourself a favor and filter this section to only the 1 star and 2 star reviews, because those are the only accurate reviews, at least for RX Global in the Norwalk office. At RX, you are overworked, but also underpaid and undervalued. Employees at this company are just a number. You are paid a comically low salary, no overtime, and HORRIBLE benefits, all for them to use and abuse you. You are expected to work overtime throughout the entire year. You are not only expected to travel for your own shows, but you are also required to volunteer for other shows and attend other external events throughout the year, that always fall over weekends. Have a good idea? Something that can propel the business forward? Doesn't matter! Unless you are VP level or above, your ideas are worth nothing— If anything, they're laughed at. On that note, unless you are VP level or above, not only do you have no autonomy, but you are essentially a dumping ground for admin work. And last but not least, the company culture is one consisting of gossip. Be prepared to be gaslit, micromanaged, and emotionally manipulated if you consider working here. Oh also, non-existent growth opportunities!

TOXIC WORK ENVIRONMENT

Pros

There are no pros to working here.

Cons

Toxic. Work. Environment. They claim to be a "family" and a "team" but really everyone acts for themselves. It's a high school clique of all the ugly, and nasty people both inside and out. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy your watching your soul and well-being degrade before your very eyes. Oh and the pay? LAUGHABLE! If they start to tout any benefits, they're not good either. They will lie lie lie.
