In my team the corporate business development, there were a good team spirit and they can teach you a lot about new launches and acquisition of businesses. In an amazing point of view on the Exhibition Business.

Cons

No possibilities to get an offer for that team. They were all senior with and you probably have to start from an other department to get finally in the Business Development

If you are already working in an área that have opportunity you can grow fast, but if not ... Travelling and get to know various markets and business

Cons

Very sexist company. The company does not give you the opportunity to change áreas , they labels you and put you in a "box"
