Pros

There really are no pros.

Cons

1. Very toxic environment due to its old school practices. The only "room for growth" appears when you come to terms with the old "climbing the ladder" mentality. You'll see your first promotion or raise in 5 years on the job, if you're lucky Aside from that, they are constantly giving employees "promotions" with no title changes or raises, just more work added to your plate for no additional compensation. Plus, as long as you a manager level or below, you must comply with whatever you are told, and you are constantly looked down upon for having original ideas, speaking up, setting boundaries, etc. 2. Very toxic environment due to the culture the company cultivates around "being friends with your coworkers". This leads to endless amount of drama that trickles into your personal life, and forever stays in your work life. 3. Minimal work-life balance. The company requires you to travel for not only the shows you specifically work on, but essentially requires you to volunteer for most other shows. Plus, a typical employee works 3 or more shows, with limited support. You end up traveling multiple times a year, with no overtime compensation. Instead, you get "1 flexible PTO day" after every 2 weekend days worked. With all of the work load & travel, you work most nights and are left with no time for your personal life. 4. Pay is absurd and borderline comical. They will do anything but bump up your pay or provide better benefits. Health insurance is at least $300 out of pocket per pay check, for the bare minimum. No sick days, limited PTO days. Not many other benefits.
