In some portfolios you get to travel the world, but not all portfolios.

Cons

Senior management don't know how basic marketing operations work. I spent more time explaining what I was doing than actually doing it. 12 hours minimum a day to survive and it won't be enough to keep your manager happy. Constant dread in office, no one is happy. Everyone is over worked and no one really likes each other. A lot of two faced individuals. 0 career progress for marketers. Being the marketing manager is the furthest you can go. Everything above that is related to events management.
