Pros

- I truly enjoy the people I work with in my office. Everyone has a great personality and works well together - You work with large, worldwide brands. If you want to do recruitment advertising for the largest brands in the world this is the agency you want to be at - HUGE network of specialized positions within the agency. The account team doesn't have to be the SEM expert, the media expert and the strategist. You have people that specialize in that, which is tremendous to give the client the service they demand - Cutting edge software in the talent acquisition space.

Cons

- At any advertising agency the hours can be long. It's part of the business. If you can only commit to 9 - 5 then this business isn't for you - Recruitment advertising is busy. Very busy. Knowing how to manage your work is important. It's not uncommon to receive 100 emails in a day

Pros

They will stretch your skills as a project manager, and the people you work with can be amazing. Specifically my team, everyone pitches in to get the job done. You've got the flexibility to get the job done without micro management, and if you need to go home or get time off it's a minimal fight.

Cons

TMP is VERY new to the software game and has rolled out products that should have been polished more. While they are leading the way, there is a lot of clean-up that is being done by software support teams.

Pros

People, people, people. Met some great friends here. Also, work-life balance and fun happy hours/activities outside of the office. PTO days and new office space.

Cons

AE's are bottom of the totem pole, and are not recognized or appreciated by upper management. The responsibilities drastically change from Day 1 very quickly, so expect to get work thrown at you and not be compensated for it. The work is not innovative or creative, and the client list is so long, you won't have time to produce good work you will be proud of. Upper management will pawn work off to you, so add that to your list of endless 'To Dos'. Also, this agency is more sales than actual advertising, so if upselling software that doesn't work is your cup of tea, than this is place for you. Working with other internal teams such as SEM, traffic and creative is also difficult, as other teams leave at 3:30pm,and work that should be delivered, is not. Ultimately, you are responsible for these undeliverables, as you are client facing. Also, health insurance is a joke.
