Rewarding if you are a self starter

Pros

Effort, teamwork, and creativity are rewarded, especially if you have the client's best interest at heart. Very smart people who really shine when working directly with their customers. Sales leaders do not micro-manage which is great for me because I am a self starter. Benefits are good and office culture is a lot of fun. The combination of TMP's experience in recruitment advertising and employer branding is what makes their career site software platform (TalentBrew) better than anything else I've seen on the market.

Cons

Not sure if they will ever match 401-k contributions, but that is something they should consider phasing in.

Great Time So Far.

Pros

Very relaxed working environment. Everybody I work is very personable. The company even sponsors lunches from time to time and doesnt mind bring party favors into the office for all to enjoy around the holidays. Management is great.

Cons

The pay is far too low. It is also unclear if there are any opportunities to advance within the company. The work can sometimes become monotonous as it is essentially the same set of tasks over and over again week to week.

Pros

- Plenty of PTO time - Encourage certain departments to work remotely - Fortune 500 clients - Colleagues are always willing to help - Challenging but rewarding work - On-site managers are usually in your corner

Cons

- Compensation is 30-40% lower than area median across most departments - 401K is only matched once "revenue goals" are met - Promotions are not granted with any predictability - The only way you receive an actual raise is by threatening to leave the company - Overall strategy is not focused on our strengths, you can only expand so fast so quickly - Upper management does not communicate across departments and hinders the pivots they want to make - Time keeping policies are outdated, asinine and not reflective of the amount of client work we actually do - Account teams are ALWAYS appeasing clients with unrealistic last minute requests, when most of them could have been avoided if they were honest and transparent with expectations at the beginning of the contract
