TMP is a horrible place to work

Pros

They do a good job of promising a lot of things during the interview process. Each office operates independently which can be beneficial if the team works well together.

Cons

They micromanage and do not practice what they preach in areas of recruiting and retention. They are clueless in terms of what the HR community will buy.

Pros

TMP is actually a very fun company to work for. The overall culture is laid back and people enjoy being here. As long as you get your work done and you do it well/on time, they are very relaxed about keeping an eye on employees.

Cons

It's very difficult to move up despite your best efforts to be a productive contributor to your team. Often times your work goes unnoticed and when it does come time for a promotion, office politics are the best way to get ahead. Not fun.

Pros

There is a lot of work and not enough employees, so there's a lot of room to learn and grow. Supervisors are ready to listen and help with problems (minor or major) and provide advise.

Cons

Although we have many offices around the world, but each office works as a mini-office - there is a complete lack of unity and communication. There is a serious lack of motivation among the staff and culture within the company. Because there is a lot of work and not enough employees, the life-work balance isn't there (the typical "9-5" days are extremely rare).
