Hard to find a company like this one

Pros

Radar fosters some of the hardest-working and brightest individuals I have ever been around. That said, there is no pressure from upper management to work extra hours or run yourself into the ground. It's a company that will challenge you to work your smartest, not hardest. Perks and benefits are great and consistently getting better. Upper-level management is really focused on employee well being. SDR's - all I can say is this position is different from others. If you want to kickstart a career in SaaS and not hate your first year, check out Radar.

Cons

As a young company, things are consistently changing, so if you don't like the idea of not knowing what to expect next, this probably isn't for you. Promotion path could be clearer but they're working on that and it's really up to you to push for something you want. That said, a smaller company means your input is more valuable, so there's an opportunity here to shape the direction of change.

Pros

The team solely consists of A players, and it certainly feels that way day to day. Everyone takes their work very seriously, yet is open to answering questions and supporting fellow teammates. We are all working together towards the same goal, building location technology the right way from the start. This mission is central in driving the company forward and is reflected appropriately in our product offering. Radar is hitting its stride at the perfect time given all the news around privacy in technology. The team also operates super efficiently, and it's impressive what Radar has been able to accomplish while staying lean.

Cons

Different orgs across the team are cohesive and communicate well across boundaries. Given our expected increase in headcount, I wonder how we'll maintain that cohesion without adding too much process. This is a natural pain with hypergrowth that management is aware of, so I'm confident that we'll be able to tackle it.

Pros

I have been at Radar for approaching a year and can only reflect on my time here as one of great career growth. The team formed here has an extremely high level of talent. Many of the leaders have been at successful SaaS companies and are cognizant of the missteps there and actively trying to build a great company. I have found many opportunities to make choices that will impact company direction or change existing processes. I also have been given new responsibilities that I wouldn't be given with most companies. The management team is learning as we grow and looking to create stronger channels for feedback to scale elegantly and improve collaboration.

Cons

The hardest thing is building a company focused on a new problem area. We are not just swapping one ERP for a more modern ERP or one CRM for another CRM. We are challenged to push the product capabilities and customers to areas they have not charted before with other software. As such, it takes both creativity and hard work as we work towards building a great product and company.
