Pros

Pay is decent, although not always on time or correct.

Cons

So many, so I'll just hit the high ends. No work to life balance. Poor planning by upper management means they will call OT at the last minute. During peak they will add days to work without any need while they take off. Absolute disregard for quality until an audit is failed. Night shift runs with no leadership. Managment that are there sit in office on the internet and do not hold associates accountable. No 401K and no plans to add in the future. Much higher turnover than average means managers are expected to meet achieve nearly unattainable results using temps with little to no experience and extremely poor training. Upper management fosters an "us vs. them" atmosphere with the client and blatantly lie reporting metrics and measures being put into place to address quality/production issues. Theft is rampant, vehicles are broken into constantly due to not enough security. No vetting of temps means workforce is comprised of convicted felons, some even wearing ankle monitoring devices!!

Pros

The job was tolerable and benefits were good when Ebay owned it. It went way downhill after it was purchased by a private investment firm.

Cons

The way employees are treated is absolutely deplorable. Most of the long term employees have quit within the last few months, supervisors have walked out without notice. It's a bad environment for basically everyone but management's "in-crowd" and the engineers (if you scrutinize most of the recent reviews, you'll notice that the majority are written by management, HR and tech/professional employees, as opposed to production workers. There is a reason...). The production standards are impossible to meet when workers are being switched between tasks every five minutes, but this is not reflected in disciplinary policy. Since the company was purchased from ebay, most full timers have been replaced with perma-temps. The pay for these workers has also declined. Benefits are a shell of what they used to be, but are more expensive for the few that are full time. Good luck getting promoted beyond lead... I can count on one hand the number of workers that were promoted from hourly to salary. Those promoted to lead are typically pets.

Pros

Once hired you get benefits almost immediately. After 3 months you get your full benefits. I had about 2+ weeks of paid vacation plus more PTO on the side. Your work is noticed. They have a system where your production is calculated and they give yearly raises based off of that work summary which I think is fair. So hard work does pay off. I personally think the starting wage for forklift operators is a little low. My warehouse manager was very sweet. The shifts are nice. You get a 30 minute break and 2 free 15 minute breaks. They also held company events almost every month for employees which is a big plus.

Cons

Rarely any overtime and if there is any offered it only lasts as long as the launch does. Then they'll have a slow down time where work will be scarce & it'll be hard to accumulate your 40 hours. The coworkers I worked with are...a handful. Coworkers I didn't even have to speak to throughout the day had problems with me. They'll watch your every move and try and set you up to fail if they know you're young and hard working because I guess it makes them job scared. Management is immature at times with confidential information.
