A few people who don't know how to do the work and like to assert their dominance.

Upper management will use and abuse you. When they terminate people they have them work a full day and then let them go due to “performance” reasons. This is consistent across the board with this company even if that person worked hard and scored high on performance reviews. This also makes it hard for the employee to collect unemployment (which is why they do it this way).
