Pros

Lax job with a pretty good culture, and the limited menu makes it quite easy to learn everything

Cons

Canes gets fairly busy, making it a fairly high stress enviornment, especially for the pay

Pros

There's only pro's if you're an extrovert and if your store has cool management

Cons

Basically every part of the job is a con, you're beyond overworked, pressured past human limits and belittled publicly if you speak up for yourself. They pick the least qualified people to move up and management is disturbingly lazy. If you aren't super outgoing/social you will be an outcast immediately. I worked closing shifts, instead of getting out by 4:30am we'd get out around 5:30am because nobody is properly trained, management doesn't care and hides in the office most of the night, so you rely on the few solid workers to do ALL of the closing duties. They don't treat you like you're a human being, they rarely give out breaks if you aren't a minor. They also don't give you a free meal, instead it's ”50%" off but the prices regularly are insane, so even with a discount you're still paying about $4 for a kid's meal with a piece of toast. That's 2 tiny pieces of unseasoned chicken, a tiny barely salted portion of fries, a mini drink and 1 sauce. You have to buy the toast for extra. Don't work here unless you have nerves of steele, are extremely social, and can handle being overworked and mistreated.
