Pros

Raising Cane's has a very open collaborative environment. My Supervisor offers suggestions to any issues I may be having but ultimately leaves the decision to me. It is a great casual work environment, flexible hours, and what's best is...our restaurants are closed all major holidays! You don't find that in the restaurant industry. We also close 30 minutes after the kickoff of the Superbowl!

Cons

With any growing company comes challenges. Your job satisfacftion level at Cane's is going to depend on how you handle some adversity. Personally, the growth has created amazing opportunities for me and other colleagues.

Pros

Discount on food Fun co-workers

Cons

Stressful moments Managers can micromanage Strict uniform requirements (I was told not to wear jeans with two tiny tears; those weren't actual tears but added as part of the style.) Training can be chaotic, and I had to learn from other co-workers instead of the training videos

Pros

Good Pay, Flexible Hours, Routine, easy job

Cons

Management unable to be managers. Crew members thinking they run the whole show. "Bird specialist's" yelling at crew members in front of customers in the dining room, thinking they're managers and disrespecting other crew members. With a higher rank, you're still supposed to respect your crew, not bring them down. Managers will listen to the problems you bring up, agree and talk crap about the crew members with you, and still do nothing to resolve the issue.
