Leadership actually invests in you as a person and not just a commodity to use. The genuinely care about you and seeing you succeed in whatever you do. Pay is great! Very generous company culture. Empowerment and trust to do my job and do it well. Free home-baked goods and lattes everyday.

Cons

A little lacking on overall company communication but they are working on getting the kinks of that. At least leadership deals with/handles a problem once it they are made aware of it.

After being with Dave for a several years, there's one thing you can always count on...movement. Just like Dave, the company is always moving forward. It's never a question of if things will change, it's a question of when. Overall, the company is full of great people. While some companies are of full of lazy people, Dave's company usually runs those types off rather quickly. Slackers don't fit. People around Dave's place have to pull their weight. One thing I've really enjoyed about the organization is how everyone pulls together without passing the buck. Honestly, I feel quite spoiled by it. When the going gets tough, people chip into to help out. They set their personal interests aside to work together. None of that backstabbing crap you experience in some companies. I often describe my work here like this. I get to spend my life going back and forth to two things I love. I leave my house in the morning to go do work I love at a place I love, and I leave work to go home to the family I love. What better way is there to live life? Going back and forth to two things I love.

Cons

Just like any small business, it's not perfect. It's a work in progress that's headed in the right direction. There are lots of younger up and coming leaders who show lots of promise. As with any young leader that is given opportunity, there will be missteps. The company is addressing this with new leadership and business training programs. A little controlled chaos. Small businesses often go through transition as they get bigger related to processes. While "fast moving" will always be part of the company's DNA, processes are being put into place to improve quality and communication.

Pros

When one door closed, another opened; personal brand is a real thing - and it matters. There is no better place to work - they have your back.

Cons

Sales is where its at. Base salary is low, but uncapped commissions rock. I've seen my share of those have second and third jobs, but I have also seen those who make lots of money.
