Great place to work, but pay is too low.....
Pros
The management staff was A+++. Very professional. The job was straight forward. Minimum office politics, compared to other companies I have worked for. Congenial atmosphere.
Cons
Absolutely no room for advancement. The pay was ridiculously low, even by New Orleans standards. It was near impossible to live on the hourly wage or salaries offered. There was occasionally a disconnect between the IT and other departments. Between departments, such as IT and the CS, there were huge communication gaps. On several occasions, IT system upgrades were not communicated to other departments. This was not seen as an issue even though it greatly impacted job performance of other departments. This seemed odd. And, the IT departments gruff reactions were also odd. More inter-departmental communication is certainly needed.
