Pros

There are none; there are other recruiting firms out there that actually do what they say, are transparent, professional and supportive.

Cons

1. I was lied to about the role I signed up for: I was told it was a 8 week training program, when it was actually 4 weeks. Was also lied to about the fact that the contractor role was a fully remote job, but then was told if I was taken on full time by the company I was contracting for, I would have to come on site 3x a week - which was not disclosed to me when I was approached for the job. 2. The person that acted as a liaison between the company I was hired with and Randstad  was unprofessional, and had an attitude when talking to others. This was so strange, given we were new employees and had questions about onboarding. It was very off putting and did not put a good taste in my mouth! 3. I was unfairly and unexpectedly released from my assignment only after 2 weeks of working there. When I attempted to get further clarification or understanding of the situation and why I was released, the Randstad liaison agreed it was strange that the company did not follow proper protocol. She said she would get to the bottom of everything, and give me call back. When I never heard back from her, I sent her a message asking her to call me and I never heard back! 4. Although I was released from my assignment, I was told I was still in good standing with Randstad and they would work hard to find me a comparable role (I was released before the holidays, which put me in a bad spot). They offered me a job interview with a company that was paying even less than I was making at the first job - which was totally laughable! 5. I was given the phone number of branch for the state I live in (the recruiter that discovered me was from another state entirely) and was told to call, they would help me get back on track. I called, no one answered. I left a voicemail, leaving my information and asking to be called back and I never received a call! My whole experience was unprofessional, and a total waste of time. I would not recommend working with/for this recruiting firm.

Pros

Can make money if you hustle but you won’t be rewarded other than that. They make It increasingly harder with new pay scale

Cons

Treats employees like crap. When you do well no support but micromanagement.
