Opened the store when they came to DFW. Many promises were made. Few, if any were kept. For example, bonuses for memberships sign up mysteriously disappeared. Staffing was too low and that impacted safety. One RSO for two rooms of shooters on a busy day is NUTS. Very unsafe! Two people to close the store with only one on the floor and one as RSO is very unsafe! Saw exemplary employees (our best instructor BY FAR) fired (or "leave") for no reason. And these were people who were consistently excellent. Had an incidents with a person committing self harm and the District Manager shows up right after and instead of seeing how employees are dealing with the trauma he's talking about how his daughter's tik toks are going viral. Yes, that really happened!
Founder came to our store and couldn't be bothered to say hello to employees. Some managers and corporate won't back you up if you take unsafe shooters who have been warned off the range. Had a lady who came for LTC/CCW certification and she had NO IDEA how to work her firearm. Our best instructor tried to work with her then failed her as she well deserved. She complained and complained (turns out she was an attorney) and was allowed to pass by that manager. Bad news.
The booking and payment confirmation system for instruction was hardly ever working. And the guidance from corporate was contradictory. They are announcing how well the company is doing but local associates very rarely saw any real bonuses or atta boys.
