Pros

Great people, varied work. The work-life balance is really great. There's is an awareness of the fact that working more than 40 hours for an extended period of time not being viable in the type of work they do.

Cons

Certain C-levels can be a bit bully-ish in meetings or when they don't get what they want. The location is not great, there are homeless people everywhere and the building sucks. The pay is far from competitive, which is compensated by not overworking employees.

Pros

Wide variety of work in cutting edge technologies for some of the biggest names in the industry. Good focus on work/life balance. Great team of very talented engineers.

Cons

Consulting is a volatile field and not for everyone. Benefits and salary are closer to the middle of the industry spectrum.
