Pros

We have one main product that the developers work on, and that makes the job easy enough/ low stress. I like working with most people here, too. Overall it’s not a bad job as long as the supervisors like you. This is a good place for people who need experience (just finished your degree). If you are already a talented developer who just wants to retire comfortable, this is also a good place for you.

Cons

At first, things seem great here. Most employees get along, and most care about doing a good job. Some events the last few months have opened my eyes, though. There were a lot of disagreements between employees and supervisors/team leads before, and I thought certain people were blowing things out of proportion. I realized recently that our supervisors and the owner really don’t care about the employees at all. This is something people have said to me over the years, and I didn’t think too much about it before the pandemic. The unhappy people left, and I just figured they weren’t a “good fit” here. Now I realize that we have lost good people because our supervisors refuse to listen to anyone or make changes. I am writing this review because when a friend asked me if we’re hiring, I told him that I don’t think he’d want to work here. That was my moment of realization. We just hired more people, and I feel like I need to write a review as a warning to others of what to expect. I feel bad for the people who just started here. There is really no room to go “up” here. The people in power are going to continue to be the people in power. Lately there’s been more gossip from supervisors than from employees. Management (probably accidentally) spreads rumors instead of just talking to unhappy employees. Management is unprofessional, and HR can’t do anything about it. For example, the owner of the company started yelling in the office because employees asked to work from home during the COVID pandemic. That didn’t help anyone to feel better about working here.

Pros

The software developers are great people and very willing to help you.

Cons

It's blatantly clear this is a first job for many of the employees and it shows. If you're looking for professionalism, you'll find none at this company. They low ball all the software programmers and pay top dollar to upper management who're clueless as to how to run a software company. They outsource the original software to an Indian firm and then expect a bunch of under paid USA software developers to clean up the code on an unrealistic time-frame. You will not learn anything about good programming from this company. The team has adapted to unacceptable programming practices and upper management is unprofessional. Management released a product without it being ready (and without proper security), a management team with half a brain wouldn't release alpha code to a paying customer. You're better off skipping this company and finding a company using programming standards and that has proper management.

Pros

Not many, some colleagues are willing to work together. Good products but both still in their infancy.

Cons

Many! HR poor out dated policies and work standards. Training poor. No direction from management or HR. Most departments live in their own little rice bowl. No teamwork between departments. very cliche. Two Software products, neither team helps out the other. All but one upper management don't know what they are doing. Owner has no vision or culture for this company. No professionalism from most employees.
