Cons

As with all banking, the work life balance is tough but RJ is much more reasonable than most of its peers

Pros

The firm is stable and conservative in its business approach. There is a true service first attitude. We really care about our client.

Cons

The internal systems lag behind the business decisions. Infrastructure is antiquated and there is no clear commitment to unified back end platforms.

Pros

Great culture, fun family/friend close knit group of people, senior management engages with all levels in office and is very involved. Good benefits. Analyst -paid great and get good perks - lunch & dinner expensed, cell phone allowance each month, good bonuses, fun employee events outside of the office.

Cons

Analyst work very long hours & some are treated pretty bad (by a select few MD's). IT issues take forever to get resolved. Raises aren't that great but bonuses make up for it.
