      Pros

      They have a great support system for their financial advisors. They give them tons of freedom and the tools to more affectively do their jobs. They don't pressure sells of any specific product.

      Cons

      Honestly can't think of any. To get manage your own branch you need at least 30 million in assets under management though

      Pros

      The name Raymond James still holds some respect in the Financial Industry. They will pay for you to continue to get your licenses.

      Cons

      The Culture has changed. I can accept low pay if the corporate culture is a positive one but at Raymond James the pay is well below the industry average and the culture and moral are just horrible.

      Pros

      It has a culture that is comfortable. Some things that are allowed at other companies such as cursing and other things that make employees uncomfortable aren't allowed there

      Cons

      They instituted a policy of employee evaluation that requires that those at the lower end of a bell curve are penalized no matter what their perfomance is.
