      a big but connected company campus, nice art work in the building, great name recongnition within the community,

      pay is generally below market, benefits are ok but not great, job satisfaction depends on the department and manager you have.

      Opportunities to make a difference both in the business and community, For those employees motivated to make a difference there are many opportunities to express your opinions and opportunities to suggest process improvements. There are always opportunities to help in the community and RJ has many organized community events throughout the year.

      Difficult to obtain mobility throughout the firm when looking for a career change or opportunity for growth.

      Pros

      Raymond James provides a great balance between work and personal life. They are very flexible with their employees regarding time off. They also try to incorporate "fun" times into the daily job activities. In the time when the market was an upset, they made sure they let their employee know what was going on with the company and they did not do any major layoffs.

      Cons

      The pay at Raymond James is very low, even for associates who have a college degree. The management isn't throroughly trained, and at times this really shows with the lack of management that you are given. Several high level managers are often rude, even walking by associates daily without saying hello or even acknowleging you at all.
