Average pay for the amount of hours you put into this role. 55+ hours a week just to stay on track. Engineers are passionate about producing the best product.
Cons
Too many reporting mechanisms. You are responsible for factory performance even though you are the furthest person away from being in the factory or building parts. Organization of clicks...the people you work best with are people that started around the same time as you. Retirement plan is horribly managed.
