Pros

Great work environment and a large selection of opportunities.

Cons

Once hired in, there’s a 2.5 year waiting period between pay grades no matter if you’re overqualified or are performing job functions way ahead of your pay grade. It’s the main reason a lot of people jump between companies like Raytheon, Lockheed and NG.

Pros

The leadership is very focused on diversity, equity & inclusion. The messages are cohesive and tell us in no uncertain terms what they expect in terms of ethics. Pay is also very competitive. The company has mentioned that we may be able to stay remote if we choose, even when the world opens back up again post-COVID, so the WFH environment is definitely a huge perk!

Cons

The medical benefits are deplorable. The cost of participating in the HSA is hundreds per month and then you still have to pay deductibles and out-of-pocket of thousands more! Also, I’ve heard this happen a few times - managers will hold a promotion over an employee’s head and then back out and pretend that conversation never happened. This puts employees in an unsettling position of not being able to trust their managers.
