Pros

- met great people who I worked with - great experience if you want to break into education without the education degree - money towards your own education

Pros

--I had more autonomy and responsibility than I could have had at any other position at my age. That said, you have to earn that privilege. --You work on a team that cares about their jobs and believes in the work --Opportunity to build real relationships with students and tutors --Pilot programs are great. Trying a bunch at once is stressful, incoherent, and lacks any type of control, making it impossible to gauge efficacy

Cons

--Low pay (but it IS a year of service) --Long hours (but it's totally worth it) --Poor feedback loops --Not enough clarity from management
