growing company, horizontal and vertical growth, ability to transition into other departments to gain experience, internal promotion opportunity, visibility into various product lines, ability to work alongside VPs and SVPs of different groups, leader in industry

Cons

benefits are not the best (but it seems to be that many companies are transitioning to high-deductible plans), a lot of organizational changes, some outdated internal systems

Thank you of your post. I believe your advice is spot on. We need great ideas from everyone. We hire everyone for their minds, so please don't get discouraged and be assertive with your thoughts. My suggestion to anyone on this topic is, sometimes you have to reframe an idea, or help someone believe it is their idea, or find the right timing to "relaunch" your thoughts. I know it is personally frustrating to believe your idea is not getting the attention it deserves. Be resilient, good ideas and people have a way of rising to the top. Thanks Kurt Twining

Pros

Large product suite. Moving to a single location which offers amenities needed by the workforce even though the new location is in the absolute worst area for traffic.

Cons

Inconsistent direction, leadership changes constantly, seems like everyone's a vp, struggle between departments, lack of fixing the real problem, decisions have to be approved by executive leadership including replacement employees, doesn't listen to customers, has most of their support and back office positions overseas.

Great co-workers, flexible hours and working arrangements, good for entry level, attractive HQ

Cons

Nepotism, poor leadership, poor communication, bad direction, lack of direction and shifting priorities based on feelings and not data, off-shoring without a plan, unsupportive management and IT, resistant to change

Thank you for your post and I appreciate you acknowledging your great co-workers. I once had the opportunity to talk with Collin Powell, the great Military Leader. We talked about many things such as Iraq, working for George Bush and what he deemed to be his best leadership advice. He told me " You can never fool the privates. They always know what is really going on." I believe that is what you are saying. Your advice is well worth heeding. Now to your cons, I would offer that the majority of RealPage has a different view of our company direction as evidence by the recent engagement score of 75% positive on clear and promising direction. Overall this is a data driven company. The PMC meetings or daily meetings for the most part all have a data element. I can tell you we have a long term strategy for India and the Philippines and we are executing it to plan. I wish your experience was better and I sincerely wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.
