      Schizophrenic upper management

      Pros

      The pay is good and there are a few really good people on the management team. The offices are well appointed and there are plenty of resources available.

      Cons

      Leadership at the top Schizophrenic, clubby, and very cut-throat. The products are so outdated that they require 100's of hours of work and testing just to add minor features. Nobody has a big picture vision on how to digest all of the companies they purchased over last 5 years.

      Pros

      The CEO is a visionary The stock plan for key employees is top notch

      Cons

      The Executive team knows how to run a software business, but doesn't have a clue about Marketing Services There is a not-invented in Texas mentality in Dallas. The problem is Dallas HQ isn't full of average performers In order to grow the business, they buy companies. The integration of the acquisitions is poor The Chief People Officer position is Red Herring. There is very little growth on the tech side and on the management side, once you becomes a VP - you have the privilege of joining the CEO's hit list of people he wants to get rid of.
