Small Firm with opportunities to develop technical skills

Pros

-exposure to many deal types -functional software -able to work independently and remotely -conservative firm management minimized layoffs during the downturns

Cons

-management is unskilled in managing people -poor communication from firm leaders causes distrust and paranoia -firm has a culture of playing favorites & retaining toxic managers

Pay and benefits are decent.

Cons

Work was not that challenging. Good place to start out. Project management goes to a select few. Don’t really give all employees a path to move up. Training is minimal. Clique-ish culture.
