Show an actual concern for employee engagement Relaxed work environment with knowledgeable co-workers Very flexible with work hours as long as it doesn't impact performance. Ensure you have the tools needed to do your job. Provide the freedom to use your own discretion to implement solutions. Casual work environment, no dress code Minor HR violations are acknowledged but not overly frowned upon.

Cons

Full medical benefits not provided No annual bonuses Average 401k match Frequent Company wide meetings that often do not interest or pertain Have to jump through corporate hoops to get simple things accomplished.

Efforts being made for positive changes

Pros

- Flexible work schedule. - Open for work from home. - Immediate manager gives enough freedom for you to operate at your comfortable pace. - Everyone is a team player, at least in Morgantown based teams.

Cons

- You struggle to get your work done due to intermittent and numerous meetings, most of which you end up not paying attention to. - Most of the teams are in West Coast. So, more often than not you end up doing work related communications until late evening. That can sometimes mess up your work-life balance. - The company is in a sort of identity crisis. It is neither a tech company nor a product company.

Pros

Interesting work, while trying to maintain an agile work flow using best practices. Team dynamics and company culture work well and make work days enjoyable.

Cons

As with any organization of significant size, dynamics across teams can sometimes be stressful. Especially when working with teams across time zones.

Having just visited Morgantown, I agree the dynamics across different locations and time zones make things more complex but this is a nice problem to have as its a sign of a growing, mature company. Hope I had a chance to meet you when I was there last week!
