      My fist industry job and I learned a lot

      Pros

      Low efficiency. So basically not a lot of things to do everyday. And the benefit is relatively good comparing to other company’s in Vancouver.

      Cons

      1. The code quality is terrible. 2. All the features only focused on short term goal which is earning money. And IMO some of them are not good enough to be released. 3. Things keep changing, there is no consistency. 4. No transparency, when CTO left and fire 10-15% people, there is no explanation about why and how. 5. Unlike other tech company, there is no difference between different level of people. SDE1 is as same as SSDE. Sometimes SDE has to take responsibility to design and implement.

      CTO changes every a couple years, in turn the tech direction changes frequently.

      Thank you for your feedback . We truly value hearing from current and former employees. While it may have felt like we changed CTOs more frequently, our last CTO was actually with us for 4 years.
