management discriminates and are poor managers in all. no training and loud punishment if you don't know how to do something. they push their duties on you and get mad if you don't complete your and their job. let their favorite employees treat you horribly and yell at you. overall horrible pay is bad too. no room for growth and they set you up for failure everyday.

RCMI’s upper management encourages an open door policy and follows through. I have always felt like I can come to anyone in the company with an issue and be treated fairly. The work is constant, so just know if you’re here and getting paid, you will have to put your best foot forward and do your job giving your best each day. I love coming to work every day for so many reasons. My staff is my first, of course. It is not as common as you’d hope to work with people that are in it to win it with you. The residents are the second reason. My residents of course want their money’s worth, but who wouldn’t? If you put in the effort to learn their names and build rapport with them, you will have no issues. To work in this industry in the first place you have to have a passion and love for people. RCMI does a fabulous job at kindling that love and encouraging it through leasing incentives, housing discounts, weekly encouragement emails, an annual retreat for managers, on-site visits from regional and higher management, annual bonuses, and so much more. If you’re looking for a corporation with a mom and pop comfort feel, this company is the one for you.
