- Gain working knowledge of garbage, recycling and composting services and resources - Gain general retail experience - Gain intermediate understanding of products specifically made with recycled materials, more sustainable practices, or lower waste results

Cons

- Horrible pay/no living wage - Non-inclusive work culture (from what I experienced) - Upper management not as interested in zero waste goals despite being the company mission

Mismanagement, good old boys club, misogyny, homophobia, under appreciation of employees, retaliation, scandals, office drama, retaliation, expectation of more work for no additional pay, have to be willing to go along to get along. It's a great place for men to work. Oh did I mention retaliation from coworker and management.
