      Pros

      You can work a lot of overtime . They have bbq twice a year . They leave you alone. They don’t care if you get the route.

      Cons

      Management does not care. We go days with out the right number of trucks. Always understaffed and they pay 3.50 less then the other trash companies. Management doesn’t help when the drivers need them. They say that safety is a big thing until it cost them money. When you work really hard management doesn’t even say thanks.

      Pros

      Recology is a company where you can be proud to work. I have been with the company for over 3 years. Senior level management is ethical and has integrity. There are many folks in management positions that have been with the company for 20+ years. They have grown up in the business and have an incredible knowledge in this industry and you learn so much from their tenure. Recology is 100% Employee Owned, which is a real plus and benefits your future retirement. Opportunity to grow within the company if you work hard and perform well in your job. Plenty of opportunity to find great mentors and to be creative. Management does listen to new ideas and acts on those ideas. If you want to make a difference in the lives of others and in the community, you can't go wrong applying for a position at Recology.

      Cons

      NONE. If you do not take pride in your work and don't want to work hard (which does not mean working enormous amounts of long hours), this might not be the right place for you to work.
