Work-life balance is pretty good, and the middle management behaves very decently. The company offers most of the perks one would expect from a good employer.
Cons
Communication between the US and German division is difficult. People hardly know each other, and misunderstandings occur frequently. There is not much there in terms of company culture, or company values. As a software developer one has to live with doing a lot of work that is not really challenging.
